After an Ancient outpost is found near the South Pole, a team is sent through the Stargate to the distant Pegasus galaxy in search of the fate of the Ancients themselves, the creators of the Stargate network. There they find the city of Atlantis, a city/ship which was home to the ancients themselves, hidden by the last of their race from their vampiric enemies - the Wraith. Cast: Joe Flanigan as Maj.
